- Wolt has partnered with Sapins located in Hamm and Mäin Chrëscht Beemchen in Livange, so customers in Luxembourg can get Christmas trees delivered to their door.
- The service is free of charge up to 25km
- Trees available for deliveries range from 100 to 250 cm, and tree stands are available for purchase as well
This is the first time Wolt is bringing Christmas tree delivery to Luxembourg. “Based on our experience in Denmark and Norway, we know it’s a service customers love,” says Tomás Etcheverry, General Manager of Wolt Luxembourg.
The service is free of charge for deliveries up to 25km for trees bought from Sapins; for Mäin Chrëschtbeemchen, delivery is complimentary up to 5km, and costs 10 EUR for deliveries between 5 and 15 km and 15 EUR for 15-25 km.
According to the two Christmas tree sellers, who together cover deliveries throughout most of the country, the most popular sizes of Christmas trees in Luxembourg are 175-200 cm and 200-225 cm. Most orders come in during the first week of December, but sales continue until Christmas.
“Our partnership with Wolt is grounded in a straightforward idea: making it easier for people to enjoy a real Christmas tree at home. By selling our carefully chosen trees through the Wolt app, we hope to help more households enjoy a bit of holiday warmth. Choose the tree that suits you, and we’ll handle the practical parts – no hassle or heavy lifting. Just a simple way to bring some holiday atmosphere into your home,” says Louis Haas from Sapins.
Working with a wide network of local shops and partners, Wolt offers a broad selection of other Christmas must-haves, including toys, pet snacks, Christmas décor, fine wines, and gourmet holiday foods, delivered in 30 minutes. Several partners offer gift-wrapping, meaning presents can arrive ready to be placed directly under the Christmas tree.
“We know how busy December can be. Between planning holiday gatherings, decorating the home and sorting gifts, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Our goal is to give people in Luxembourg a moment of peace by handling the shopping and the delivery, so they can focus on what truly matters – spending quality time with loved ones,” says Tomás Etcheverry.
Customers can order gourmet products from Luxembourg favourites such as patisseries, bakeries and speciality food shops, or choose from hundreds of restaurants if they prefer to skip cooking altogether. And with Wolt’s partner stores open every day throughout the holidays, essentials like fresh produce, baked goods and pantry staples are always within reach.
