Wolt, the technology company known for its local commerce platform, is expanding into the Eastern region of Luxembourg, and will now deliver also in Echternach, Grevenmacher, Wasserbillig and Mertert. With this addition, Wolt now covers 95 per cent of the country’s population, bringing greater convenience and choice to customers across the Grand Duchy.
Wolt already covers the capital area, Esch-sur-Alzette and its surroundings, Mersch, Diekirch, Ettelbruck and their neighbouring towns, Remich and Mondorf-les-Bains in the South-East and Wiltz in the North. The latest expansion includes key towns in the East of the country, such as Echternach, Grevenmacher, Wasserbillig and Mertert, where residents can now enjoy access to Wolt’s wide selection of restaurants and local shops delivered to their door.
Following the expansion, Wolt now offers delivery from 900 restaurants and retail partners in Luxembourg, ranging from local eateries to international brands and speciality stores.
“This expansion marks an important step in our mission to bring Wolt to communities across all of Luxembourg,” said Tomás Etcheverry, General Manager of Wolt Luxembourg. “We’re excited to connect even more customers with fantastic local businesses, while also creating new earning opportunities for courier partners and merchants in the region.”
Local businesses in the region will benefit from increased visibility and access to a growing base of digital customers, while courier partners from the area will gain additional earning opportunities.
“We are very excited to have signed so many of the local favourites, like Restaurant Aal Eechternoach with classic Luxembourgish dishes and all ingredients home-made, Lakeside Echternach - directly at the lake, and Kebab Haus Echternach - was voted Best Kebab in Luxembourg 2026, as well as Urban and Pizza Hut, just to mention a few,” adds Etcheverry.
