Early payouts: A new level of financial flexibility for Wolt courier partners

Imagine being able to get access to your earnings right away instead of having to wait for the regular payout date.  This is now a reality for courier partners delivering on Wolt in nine different countries. With so-called early payouts, Wolt is empowering courier partners with a new level of financial flexibility.

Early payouts offer courier partners the ability to invoice and access 50-70% of their earnings immediately. Within minutes after a completed delivery, the amount of the early payout is available for transfer to the courier partner’s bank account. From the first pilot in Slovenia, this new level of financial flexibility has already been praised for its convenience and impact.

Early payouts are now available for courier partners delivering in Slovenia, Czechia, Greece, Slovakia, Hungary, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia with 6 more countries joining soon. During 2025, Wolt is planning to launch early payouts to independent couriers partnering directly with Wolt across 18 countries and enable them to access 100% of their earnings on demand.

Courier partners can follow these simple steps to gain access to their earnings on demand.

1. Head to the finance tab within the Partner App
2. Click "Early payouts" to see how much money you have available. 
3. Click "New request" to choose the amount you want to invoice and access and insert your bank information
4. Confirm and let Wolt take care of the rest - the amount will enter your bank account shortly.

Flexibility, independence, and financial stability are the main reasons why people choose to deliver on Wolt.

A recent study surveying more than 20.000 Wolt courier partners shows that 23% of couriers deliver to finance their studies or their own business, while 59% deliver to generate savings or pay off debt. For others, the additional income they generate from Wolt is used to make big purchases, like a car or computer, or cover unexpected expenses. Overall, 64% of courier partners said that they feel less financially stressed thanks to Wolt. With early payouts, the ambition is to increase that number.
