November 23, 2022 – Wolt, the technology company that is known for their local commerce platform, announces its plans to ramp up its product development by launching two new technology hubs, one in Tel Aviv and one in Stockholm. Wolt is looking to hire dozens of experts from different fields, including software engineers, product managers, designers and data professionals to these hubs.
“Wolt has taken a massive leap into the delivery of everything in the past couple of years, and we need more talented people to build world-class solutions and solve complex problems across business lines. We want to keep pushing for an industry-defining experience for our over 20 million customers and hundreds of thousands partners across our 23 markets and over 300 cities,” says Niilo Säämänen, Chief Technology Officer at Wolt.
Wolt develops a wide range of technologies from local logistics to retail software and financial solutions. The company has over 60 dedicated product teams and more than 500 people working in its product organization. Until now, the company has had two bigger technology hubs, one located in Helsinki and the other in Berlin.
According to Säämänen, Wolt is looking to not only speed up the recruitment of tech talent but also build an even more diverse set of specializations within its product organization. Deciding the locations for the two news hubs was easy, he says.
“Some of the most talented people in technology live in Stockholm and Tel Aviv. We believe we have plenty of exciting opportunities to offer, as both hubs will play an important role in tackling the delivery of everything at scale, unlocking the potential of our newer business lines and most importantly in making the service better for our existing customers and partners. We have a very ambitious hiring plan and can’t wait to welcome our new teammates”, he continues.
